No All-Star for San Antonio Spurs?

Just like a steaming train that keeps on chugging along, the San Antonio Spurs are doing their thing, in their own way. And that way is the winning way. The team don’t get have so much attention, except for when Coach Gregg Popovich sent his three main guys home to rest, and David Stern’s pants got all rustled. After that uproar, everything went quiet again. Only in Australian online sports betting did they make some noise. Very typical of the team that has showed their way of handling things.

This is probably also the reason why not one player from the spurs team have been voted into the all-star game. Although I don’t think Tim Duncan’s that interested to be their anyway, but being voted into the all-star game is a good way of being recognized for the stellar contributions to the team. And speaking of stellar contributions, Duncan and Tony Parker have been doing that all season, leading the way for a 30-11 record and third ranking team in the more competitive western conference.

Another explanation for not getting voted into the all-star game is due to the team and players’ consistency. Duncan and Parker have been stellar for years, that even when they play the best game out there, it’s not that surprising anymore, and without that surprise, there’s no excitement. I guess only some Australian online bookmaker can appreciate that. It’s like a spicy food actually. It catches your attention during the first bite but after a while, you’d barely notice that it was even spicy to being with.

This speaks for the fans that vote on the exciting player, not necessarily the best player.
