American football might not be a favorite sport of mine and although it’s not that featured in many websites for betting on sports, the excitement of the Super Bowl is something makes every bit of it worth watching. The Super Bowl XLVII was just as exciting as it was expected. It doesn’t matter if you bet on sports or not, if you were able to watch the game, you know how thrilling it was. Even the power outage that lasted for 34 minutes didn’t dull the drama of the game. In fact, the game just got more exciting once the lights came back on.

Down by 22 on a score of 28-6, the San Francisco 49ers made a run to catch up to the Baltimore Ravens to make the score 31-29. However, the run stopped there as the 49ers failed on their 2 goal attempt that could have tied the game. Instead, the Ravens were able to increase their score to 34 with a field goal during their turn on offense. From there on, the solid defense of the Ravens, headed by the retiring Ray Lewis secured the game with a score of 34-31.

The Lombardi Trophy goes to the Baltimore Ravens with the Most Valuable Player of the Super Bowl going to Joe Flacco, the guy who became the man for the season for the Ravens. In the end, Ray Lewis goes out as a champion, and the battle between the two coaches Harbaugh Brothers goes to the John.
